Job Active Tracking

Job search, a fully-fledged profession

Accumulate needs analysis skills, communication skills and an example of an elegant defence of your track record - a whole set of aspects to consider!

Given all this, we opted to use an approach that uses our own tools with executives seeking employment, not only for use in the job search phase, but throughout the professional and personal careers of job hunters.

This product, resulting from 10 years of experience and continuous development, is a programme used to develop, promote and communicate your professional record and your personality. Its techniques apply to both employed executives who wish to check the relevance of what they have to offer internally, and also to those seeking new "executive" employment.

This approach is used in the Canton of Neuchâtel (Employment Service. Training Department). Almost 3000 executives (of both genders) have taken part in this approach.

Our approach of a "professional offer"

We seek to give a good image through our professional record. This is the main marketing tool in our offer.

This "sales" approach is becoming increasingly conspicuous, due mainly to one thing: we have more and more competitors seeking to attract and convince the same "client" (recruiter). All that needs to be done now is to create smooth, well-formatted and stereotypical but original, surprising content, that stands out from the crowd. This should be in accordance with the applicable rules and business practices.

Last challenge: writing my piece, formulating the way I prepare myself, introducing myself to the recruiter and defending my record - all these aspects should be consistent. Have a common thread with tools that work well together is the challenge raised by our approach.

The elements of the offer:

Some basics that have to be respected

Boxes

For you to be of interest to a client:

  1. Your offer should meet both explicit and implicit needs of the client
  2. The offer should show off the potential additional related gains
  3. The offer should be monitored and managed skilfully by its owner
  4. The applicant's behaviour and attitude must be professional and relevant

Effectively respond to an advertisement or a new job: I know how to analyse customer needs and work out any needs which are not made explicit. I know how to prepare for the interview, using a few techniques that will allow me to adapt myself to the situation. I know how to (I dare to) use the telephone and e-mail to stay efficient and professional. I stay true to myself and I am in control of my emotions ...

Some recommendations and opinions on this "market" ...

Pay attention to feedback and how to "quickly make your case" ... All these skills are not acquired in just a few hours ... do not displease people responsible for budget cuts!

Customisation of content must be genuine and consistent with the culture of the applicant, even if this contents is integrated within communication structures motivated by aspects of sales or negotiation psychology.

The job hunter's autonomy must be guaranteed in part by interdisciplinary tools (no tools for "unemployed"), and secondly, by technical monitoring on the integration of tools and methods proposed (eg: "CDO Consulting Service After Sales Service" included in the services: all issues relating to the implementation of specific tools can be a be subject to feedback by e-mail with regard to the technical quality of writing).
